Home Blood Collection Service

During the pandemic, the safety of our families became more important than ever. Due to the extremely low immune resistance of children undergoing cancer treatment as a result of chemotherapy, the Foundation launched a Home Blood Collection Service in April 2020 to prevent these children from exposure to viruses in hospitals.

In collaboration with Biruni Laboratories and Şişli Memorial Hospital, qualified nurses were sent to homes to perform routine blood tests and port access procedures free of charge. The test results were shared with families via email.

This service continued throughout the pandemic period.
